Madeira Island Guinness World Records™ - New Years Eve Firework Show 2006/07
Madeira Island is proud to announce its Guinness world record certificate, achieved in Madeira on 31st December 2006/07 for the largest fireworks show in the world. The Tons of fireworks used were spread across 37 stations throughout the region, inspectors of the Guinness World Records™ visited these locations to analyze its true size and a decision was announced 1st January 2007 at 1:30 am granting Madeira Island the official winning title.
It was truly amazing a massive burst of colour, year after year Madeira is still the best place in the world for New Year's Eve Fireworks Show.
This event was achieved by "Macedo's Pirotecnia" a well known national and international brand.
